Accommodations

Prince Edward County has lovely places to stay for the weekend. Stay along the route for the County Marathon with accommodations throughout the area. Visit www.multimanagement.ca to view the short-terms stays available in the area.

 

Race Kit Pickup

Kits can be picked up the day before, on Saturday, October 4th. Location TBD from 11a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If you reside in Kingston, ON, you can request kit collection through our partners at Runners’ Choice. Simply contact the owners with your details, and your kit will be ready for pickup at their Brock Street store. Email address: info@runnerschoicekingston.com

 

Bag Check

Check your bag at the Full and Half start lines for transport to the finish line (bag tag provided at race kit pick-up). Your bags will be inside the Crystal Palace.

 

Vehicles, Parking, and Busses

Parking is at the Picton Fairgrounds behind the arena, 375 Main St., Picton ON.  Runners will be transported to start lines via buses – please be on time!

The Wellington Arena, which serves as the starting point for Full Marathon runners, will be open, providing access to washrooms and the indoor walking track.

For the safety of runners no unauthorized people, vehicles or bicycles are permitted on the route.  These are official police road closures.  You will be towed if you park on the main street outside the Fairgrounds.

Buses (If you plan on getting yourself to the start of the Full Marathon Start Line in Wellington, please NOTE:  Roads start to close at 7:30am – NO exceptions)

Full Marathon startline busses  6:15 am
Half Marathon startline busses  8:15 am

Post Run Events

At race completion, enjoy your Recharge with Milk provided by authentic Prince Edward County dairy farmers. Afterwards, head to the Rotary Hall, also known as Prince Edward Community Centre, for food and complimentary Prince Eddy’s beer.
Your certificate of completion and placement can be found on the Race Roster website.

The Winners’ Circle Awards Ceremony will take place post-races giving out trophies, medals, and prizes. Top 3 finishers overall, and by age categories will be awarded. Age categories are determined by decade: U20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
