Presented in Partnership with County Kids Club

Kids 1K Run is a fun, family-friendly race that lets children experience the excitement of The County Marathon Race Weekend in beautiful Picton, Ontario.

Hosted in partnership with the County Kids Club, the 1 km race starts and finishes at the Picton Fairgrounds (Crystal Palace), where participants complete a loop on the gravel track before crossing the finish line to the cheers of family and friends.

Open to children up to age 12 the event is all about fun and inspiring a lifelong love of movement. $5 from every $34.62 registration is donated to the County Kids Club to support local youth movement programs and activities in Prince Edward County.

Saturday October 3rd, 2026, 8:30am.

• Bib Pickup: 2:50–3:20 p.m.

• Race Start: 3:30 p.m.

• $34.62 per child.

Race Notes

• Open to children up to age 12 of all abilities, with runners, joggers, and walkers welcome to join the fun.
• Parents or guardians are welcome to accompany children on the course if needed.
• Strollers are permitted; please note the course is primarily gravel.
• The event is supported by course volunteers and an on-site medical personnel.
